Does the calculator account for two coats, or just one coat of paint?
The calculator defaults to the standard two-coat application most manufacturers recommend for proper opacity and finish, since a single coat rarely achieves even colour coverage, especially over a primed or previously painted surface. If your specification calls for a different number of coats, adjust this input, since it directly and proportionally changes the litres required.
